Maja Jerman Vranić is an expert with over 20 years of experience in environmental protection, sustainable development, and waste management. As the Director of the Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Department at EKONERG, she leads multidisciplinary teams in the development of strategic documents, studies, and environmental plans in the industry, energy, transport, and maritime sectors. She is particularly engaged in environmental impact assessments and the analysis and improvement of ecological standards in urban and industrial areas.

She has participated in numerous international projects, contributing to the development of environmental policies and strategies aligned with European and global sustainable development goals. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in managing EU co-financed projects as well as projects funded by international institutions such as the World Bank and the EBRD.
