From the very beginning of his professional career, his work has been related to the sea and maritime affairs. From 2003-2007, he held the position of Deputy GM for Infrastructure and Superstructure Development at the Zadar Port Authority. After that, he has been working as Deputy GM for Commercial Affairs, Planning, Marketing and EU Funds until today.

He has twenty-five years of experience in management positions in the maritime industry. He actively participated in the infrastructure development of the Zadar Port and initiated activities to attract cruising tourism to Zadar. During 2023 and 2024, he was on the board of directors of Medcruise.

10 years ago, he also began activities related to the use of EU funds and ensured the participation of the Zadar Port Authority in several projects such as the Interreg projects Mednet, Transpogood, Remember, Susport,... He also participated, or is still participating, in EU projects as a project manager.
