From the very beginning of his professional career, his work has been related to the sea and maritime affairs. From 2012-2019, he held the position of Head of IT Department at the Port of Ploce Authority. After that, he has been working as a Head of the department for digitalization until today.

He has more than ten years of experience in the services of analysis, design, supply, development and implementation of infrastructure and SW solutions oriented to special infrastructure and port systems needs used for Sea and Dry Ports or port terminals. Now, he has a strong focus on the port and logistics IT solutions which combine special development and use of port systems in port environments and special design infrastructure as prerequisite for these kinds of the systems based on a tailor-made approach.

Implementing business information systems solutions and services in the field of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services for the port systems are considered also as main interests for him.

Through the activities of port digitalization and cybersecurity, he began activities related to the use of EU funds and ensured the participation of the Port of Ploce Authority in several projects such as the Interreg projects ADRIPASS, Transpogood, Intesa, Susport, CRESPORT MILEPORT, TranspoNEXT, etc. He also participated, or is still participating, in EU projects as a project manager.
