Aziz Güngör has 32 years of professional experience in the marine tourism industry, including the first 12 years in marina management (Koç Holding / Setur Marinas) and the following 20 years in cruise port operations. Since 2019, he has been serving as the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Director of Global Ports Holding, overseeing the company’s ports in Türkiye, Croatia, and Montenegro. He has also been the General Manager of Ege Port Kuşadası Cruise Port since 2006, while additionally serving as a Board Member at Bodrum and Zadar cruise ports.

Güngör has held board positions in several professional organizations in the maritime and marine tourism sectors. He served as a Board Member of the Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports (MedCruise) during the 2014, 2021, and 2022–2024 terms, and as a Board Member of the Izmir Branch of the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping between 2018 and 2022. He currently continues his roles as a Board Member of TÜRKLİM – Turkish Port Operators Association, a Member of the IMEAK Chamber of Shipping Port Operations Committee, and a Board Member of the Marine Tourism Association.
