Nina Perko, PhD

Nina Perko was born in 1966 in Zagreb.
After graduating from the Faculty of Law and passing the bar exam, she earned her master’s degree in 2006 at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, and in 2017 she obtained a PhD at the same faculty with a dissertation on “Valuing the Impact of Nautical Vessel Traffic on the Capacity of Seaports.”
She has been employed at the ministry since 1993, participating in the drafting and adoption of numerous strategic documents, presenting at a large number of conferences, and participating in and/or leading all working groups responsible for creating regulations related to the management of maritime property and seaports. She currently serves as the Director of the Maritime Administration.
In her free time, she enjoys walking, especially on the islands.
