Ms. Rebeka V. Pevec is an internationally recognized expert in ultra luxury hospitality and the cruise industry, with more than 30 years of experience in managing premium operations and developing service excellence. Since joining Global Ports Holding in 2019, she has served as General Manager of Zadar Cruise Port, leading its strategic development, operational efficiency, sustainability initiatives and strong international positioning within the global cruise market.

With a clear strategic vision and a strong commitment to operational and service excellence, she has positioned Zadar Cruise Port as the most awarded cruise port in Croatia. The port was named Port of the Year at the Seatrade Cruise Awards (2019), received the Best New Terminal Development award from Cruise Insight (2020), and was among the first in Croatia to obtain the Safe Travels Certificate from the World Travel & Tourism Council. At the World Cruise Awards, Zadar Cruise Port was twice awarded Europe’s Best Cruise Terminal (2023, 2025) and has been repeatedly shortlisted as a finalist for both Europe’s Best and World’s Best Cruise Terminal.

Before transitioning ashore, Ms. Pevec built an accomplished global career at sea with prestigious cruise brands including Silversea Cruises, Radisson Seven Seas Cruises, Celebrity Cruises and Viking Cruises. Among other appointments, for 15 years she served as Hotel Director aboard award-winning vessels, leading complex hotel operations, financial performance and large multicultural teams across international markets.

She is also the Founder and Co-President of WISTA Croatia, where she actively promotes leadership development and greater representation of women in the maritime sector. Ms. Pevec holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, with additional specializations in management, finance, marketing and team leadership.
