Alana Vukić, a lawyer by profession, has served as Director of the Air, Maritime and Railway Traffic Accidents Investigation Agency (AIN) since 2022. At the head of this independent institution, she leads a system responsible for safety in three branches of transport and actively contributes to the work of numerous European expert bodies.

She is the Technical Manager of the EU project Interreg Italy–Croatia CROSSFreight and one of the initiators of the first thematic conference on railway safety in Croatia.

Under her leadership, AIN will host, for the first time, an international meeting in May in Dubrovnik, bringing together around 140 European air accident investigators.

She built her professional experience in a law firm and later at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Rijeka, where she participated in the implementation of a number of national and international projects.
