Maja holds a degree in Economics from the University of Zagreb and is a licensed maritime agent, as well as a certified Superyacht Manager through the UK-based Maritime Training Academy.

She began her career in yachting in 2005, working aboard large private and charter yachts, eventually advancing to the position of Chief Stewardess. Through hands-on experience on operational vessels and new builds, she gained in-depth knowledge of the operational, technical, and administrative aspects of superyacht management. Her international experience includes transiting the Suez Canal and the Panama Canal, crossing the Atlantic Ocean, and managing charter seasons in the Caribbean and the Western Mediterranean.

In 2008, she founded MYS ltd. as a boutique agency providing services to luxury megayachts in Croatia and Montenegro. Over the years, the company has evolved into a trusted partner offering port agency services, VAT advisory, and full yacht management, supported by a multidisciplinary team.

As a co-founder and Vice President of CRO.Y.A., Maja actively contributes to the development and professionalization of the regional yachting industry. She is also involved in the organization of the CROYA Charter Show, the leading B2B crewed charter event in the region, supporting Croatia’s strategic positioning as a premier yachting destination.
