Mladen Pešić
Graduated Archaeology and Geography at the University of Zadar in 2007 and began his career as a conservator-restorer of underwater archaeological material at the Croatian Conservation Institute.
Since 2005 involved in many underwater archaeological field works, until today he is licensed SSI Diving control specialist and was leader of number of underwater archaeological researches in Croatia. PhD since 2019 at the University of Zadar with the subject entitled " African import recovered from the Croatian seabed dating from the 1st to the 5th century ".
Since 2011 employed at the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar – UNESCO category 2 centre (ICUA Zadar) as Head of the Department of Documentation and Education, where he was responsible for conducting underwater archaeology courses, research and protection of underwater cultural heritage, underwater documentation and organization of conferences.
During career participated in various international conferences and wrote numerous professional and scientific articles on subjects dealing with research and protection of underwater cultural heritage.
Since 2019 working as the Director of ICUA Zadar.
